If ever there were a match made in heaven, its Michel Gondry and Japanese advertising. Both highly imaginative and bat shit crazy, I’m kind of surprised that it took this long for Gondry’s brand of filmmaking to reach the land of the rising sun. See the ad after the jump.

Returning to his old bag of tricks, French director Michel Gondry brings his signature cartoonishly large body parts to a commercial for Japanese department store Sunshine Sakae. I just really hope this makes it onto wtfjapanseriously.com.
